"FEED ME"

2005-07-29 I put in an order for a new Gallardo SE at my car dealer.
2005-11-16 My car has been built, and is delivered to my car dealer. Days of frustration begins, as the swedish winter weather isn't exactly what you wish for when you go to pick up a new supercar...
2005-12-05 Time for delivery! Unfortunately the weather is very bad, and I don't want to drive the Lambo on the dirty and salted roads. Instead I drive the Lambo home on a trailer. In total I have driven the Lambo less than 100 meters, before I put it in my garage...

The weather has improved and the roads are dry. I decide to take the Lambo for the first test drive. The car fulfills all of my expectations -and more. A truly fantastic car -so well balanced, and the sound needs a chapter of its own... The last day it was snowing, before I washed the car and put it back in the garage. Even though the PZero Corsa tyres were pretty slippery on snow, it was lots of fun! Now I have driven the car a little bit more than 800 km...
2006-03-22 The snow was (almost) gone, and I needed to get the car out of the garage. I drove it to the Lamborghini workshop in Södertälje, to make sure that it was fit for fight for the coming season...
2006-03-24 Time for the first joyride of the year. A 300 km trip emptied the gas tank. After refueling and washing the car it went back to the garage.
2006-04-04 Time to get the car out of the garage again. I spent the day at Intergraphix in Södertälje, to put some nice custom made stickers on the car. It must look like a race car! I think we did a real good job, adding a personal touch to the car...

The first long trip with the Lambo went to Nürburgring in Germany and Spa in Belgium. It was also the first time for the car to see a race track. On Autobahn the speedometer showed 325 km/h before I had to brake for slower traffic... And on the race tracks the car fulfilled my high expectations once again. The feeling and the balance in the car is magnificent and the time 8 min 05 sec BTG on Nürburgring and 2 min 53 sec on Spa must be considered OK for the first visit... There are still several seconds to cut down... Unfortunately the brake pads wore down completely after the third day. Must find better, harder pads... When I came home again the car had more than 6000 km on the meter.
